Over 500 paper strips and more than 200 tight coils were used to make this canvas piece. Each one contains within a special handwritten message for my mom. A quality I wish upon her, a loving memory, a thanksgiving. It is a small sample of the gratitude I feel for having her in my life and my own kind of prayer for her during her battle with cancer. I could not give much, except spend some time in joy, creativity and thankfulness just for her. Out of my empty hands…
